I am a sociotechnical analyst; a researcher and consultant who applies interdisciplinary expertise to understanding how people experience the technical, social and material world. I apply systems thinking to exploring the 'big picture', as well as the importance of lived experience in research and design—both for organisations and for consumers.
I am a creative thinker who enjoys using a range of techniques for working with people and translating ideas into new user-centred practice or design solutions. My work is underpinned by advanced communication skills including written, as presenter and as a facilitator.
My qualifications include: PhD, Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma in Media Studies, and Masters in Information Management and Systems. These studies have supported a career that has spanned: health, education, media and performing arts, knowledge and information management and design.
